The Department is pleased to announce that our Year 4 Undergraduates, Ms. Cheung Cheuk-lam and Mr. Pook Chun-man, have been chosen as the recipients of the Outstanding Service Awards in 2022/23.
The purpose of this award is to acknowledge and recognize undergraduates with outstanding service records in the Department. Thanks to all of your nomination and endeavour throughout the voting process, we finally come up to have Cheuk-lam and Chun-man as awardees of the Outstanding Services Awards this year. It is a prestigious honour that serves to recognise the best of the best within our ranks; each awardee will receive a $1,000 prize.
What’s more, we are happy to have Cheuk-lam and Chun-man to share with us their wholehearted feelings of receiving this achievement 🙂

It is my great honor to be awarded this prize. Being a part of the Department of Chemistry, I strongly believe that it is my responsibility to support it as much as I can. Therefore, I seize every opportunity to serve and promote my department. I really enjoy my studies here, as all the people here have provided me with a lot of support and encouragement. There is no doubt that I would serve it hard in return. I hope other students will have the same feeling as me, so that our department will become better and better in the future.

Hi, I am Alpha! It is my great honor to be nominated and receive this award. As a family member of Chemistry Department, I am glad to serve and assist our department during the undergraduate. I really enjoy it, especially while taking the promotion videos and assisting the laboratory courses for the primary and secondary school students. It is not only giving me a chance to understand our department deeply, but also apply my scientific knowledge and ability of expression. Most importantly, it is my pleasure to serve our department and let more people know about our harmonious department! Finally, I trust our department will become a more mutual love department in the future!
